Experience Change

Life is about finding how to balance one's life. The three main aspects of life that may impact one's balance are relationships, occupation/academics, and/or socialization.

When we struggle with identification of factor(s) triggering mental health issues we tend to seek professional help. Reaching out is first step to finding that balance. Therapy can help bring that change to create a balanced life.

Home: Welcome

Human body and mind are constantly attempting to achieve a state of homeostasis in the midst of everyday challenges and changes. Personal well-being and growth largely depend upon one’s ability to manage one’s emotions or to be emotionally balanced. Our perceptions are the product of our thoughts, emotions, and feelings. Life events, situations, and experiences lead to negative emotions or positive emotions and staying in either state can affect our judgment and insight, therefore awareness of our thinking patterns, and it’s interplay with our emotions is the first step on the journey to equilibrium or state of balance.

Using Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) I help people learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on behavior and emotions and in its techniques help them bring them back to their baseline functioning.

HOW DO I HELP?

How Do I Help?

The process of finding and opening up to a mental health expert may seem daunting, especially when it’s difficult to find a reason to get out of bed. Getting the right help requires effort, openness, and most importantly, patience with yourself.

I strive to make this process easy for every patient by providing a judgment free zone that makes them feel heard.

Whether you’re dealing with a personal crisis, trauma, or other challenges, you can still work to deal with them better.

What To Expect?

Counselling sessions are never just about problem solving or advice. In fact, the purpose of psychotherapy and therapy is to instill a sense of agency to the patient and deepen their understanding of self. Therapy can not be the end all be all of anyone’s problems but it is a great tool to identify the pain points and address them in a reasonable and practical manner.

This means the patient is required to actively take part in their recovery, healing, and self-improvement. In the end, it facilitates a mechanism for identifying feelings of anger, sadness, jealously, anxiety, melancholy, etc. and learning healthy coping mechanisms.

Reasons Why CBT Can Help You

01

Brings Clarity

Talking to a CBT practitioner can bring clarity to your problems and help you find optimum solutions.

02

Changes Perspective

Most of our unhealthy thoughts and behaviors come from false beliefs. Changing perspective is crucial to a long-term, healthy outlook to life.

03

Deal With Intrusive Thoughts

As Albert Camus once said, thoughts can be dishonest. Your thoughts do not define you, and CBT can help change the thought patterns.

04

Stop Negative Behavioral Patterns

As a practical approach to dealing with personal problems, CBT provides a framework to stop unhealthy behavior.

05

Embrace Positive Behaviors

Just like quitting unhealthy behavior, developing healthy alternatives to replace them can be a lifechanging revelation.

06

Improve Self Image

Given the approach of putting the solutions to your problems in your hands, CBT can also improve self-image over time and increase life satisfaction.
